flynas Establishes New Operations Base in Abha; Becomes First Saudi Airline to Operate from Five Hubs

ABHA, KSA | January 14, 2026flynas, the world’s leading low-cost carrier and the best LCC in the Middle East, has officially announced the launch of its newest operations base at Abha International Airport. This strategic move is a result of a landmark cooperation with Cluster2 Company and the Aseer Development Authority.

With this launch, flynas makes history as the first Saudi airline to operate from five different hubs across the Kingdom (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, and Abha), further strengthening its position as a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector.

Phase 1: Connecting Abha to the World

Starting March 29, 2026, flynas will commence flights connecting Abha to 11 domestic and international destinations. The network expansion includes:

  • International Routes: Direct flights to Dubai, Cairo, Istanbul, and Addis Ababa, alongside seasonal services to Kuwait and Trabzon.
  • Domestic Routes: Enhanced connectivity to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, and Tabuk.
