SHENZHEN, CHINA — TCL Industries, a global leader in consumer electronics and the world’s top Mini LED and ultra-large TV brand, recently hosted its 2026 Global Partners Conference (GPC 2026) in Shenzhen. Under the theme “Pioneering for Greatness,” the biennial event convened nearly 500 strategic partners and industry leaders from 49 markets to outline a roadmap for a smarter, more connected global ecosystem.
Driving Value Through Product Excellence At GPC 2026, TCL unveiled a suite of next-generation smart living innovations. Highlights included the X11L SQD-Mini LED TV, featuring flagship display technology, and the TCL FreshIN 3.0 Ultra air conditioner, which utilizes AI to optimize air quality for deep sleep. The showcase also featured the TwinMag Prime Fresh refrigerator and the AI SuperDrum® Wash & Dry Tower, alongside advanced AR glasses and photovoltaic energy solutions.
TCL’s mid-to-high-end market strategy has yielded significant results. The company maintains its position as the world’s No. 2 TV brand and the second-largest exporter of air conditioners, with 20 million units shipped. Notably, 2025 marked TCL’s 16th consecutive year as the world’s top refrigerator exporter.
Strategic Partnerships and Global Expansion A major highlight of the roadmap is the landmark strategic partnership announced in March 2026 between TCL Electronics and Sony Corporation. Through a newly established joint venture, the two giants will collaborate on innovative home entertainment products, combining technical prowess with operational excellence to meet evolving consumer demands.
Localized Growth and Olympic Vision TCL’s global expansion is rooted in a “consumer-first” localization strategy. The company now operates 25 R&D centers and 21 manufacturing bases worldwide. This vertical integration is bolstered by high-profile sports marketing. In 2025, TCL became an Official Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, joining a prestigious portfolio that includes the NFL and FIBA.
The Road Ahead Over the next five years, TCL plans to expand its global footprint to 80,000 stores and 7,000 service locations.
“TCL is fully invested in our shared success,” stated Du Juan, CEO of TCL Industries. “Our theme, ‘Pioneering for Greatness,’ reflects our confidence. By creating real value and maintaining integrity in our partnerships, we will continue to lead the industry forward.”
