COCA-COLA FAN ZONE AT JAX DISTRICT CONCLUDES AS A PREMIER FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ DESTINATION IN RIYADH

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — July 21, 2026 — Marking the grand finale of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and Spain’s historic victory, the Coca-Cola Fan Zone at JAX District has officially wrapped up its five-week football festival. The event successfully transformed Riyadh’s creative district into one of the Kingdom’s most popular destinations for match viewings and vibrant community entertainment.

Running from the knockout rounds on June 11 through the final match on July 19, the Fan Zone repurposed JAX District’s signature industrial warehouses into a state-of-the-art cinematic football arena. Across the tournament, the venue brought together local residents, families, and international fans to support their favorite teams side by side.

The festival reached its peak during the Final match, drawing more than 1,000 passionate fans to share in the excitement of the closing game. Throughout the five-week celebration, JAX District welcomed over 20,000 visitors in total.

Beyond live match broadcasts, visitors enjoyed a comprehensive entertainment schedule, including:

Interactive E-Gaming & Football Challenges: Designed for esports fans and youth engagement.
Curated Dining & Merchandise: Featuring local culinary offerings and official sports gear.
Family-Centric Spaces: Dedicated zones ensuring a welcoming experience for guests of all ages.
The event highlights JAX District’s ongoing role as a hub for local creativity, culture, and community events in Saudi Arabia, proving its capability to host world-class international activations.

Manuel Burgos, Vice President & General Manager of Coca-Cola Middle East, commented:

“What we saw at JAX District over the past five weeks was the very spirit that Coca-Cola has embodied at every World Cup since 1978: strangers becoming friends, communities coming together, and pure, unfiltered passion for the game. JAX District was more than a host for our Fan Zone; it elevated the experience, giving fans a setting as memorable as the football itself.”
