AL WA’LAN TRADING LAUNCHES LOTUS EVIJA IN SAUDI ARABIA: THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL PRODUCTION ELECTRIC VEHICLE

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Al Wa’lan Trading, the strategic partner for the iconic Lotus brand in Saudi Arabia, today unveiled the Lotus Evija, the world’s most powerful production electric vehicle. The exclusive launch event, held at the Lotus showroom in Riyadh’s Imall, was attended by media representatives, customers, and automotive enthusiasts.

The Lotus Evija is a new icon in the world of electric hypercars, combining classic British design with cutting-edge technology. It represents a significant milestone in the brand’s journey to redefine the concept of electric luxury vehicles, with a limited global production run of just 130 units.

Al Wa’lan added that the launch aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030, which promotes sustainability and the transition to environmentally friendly mobility. “By introducing the Evija, we are placing our customers at the heart of this local and global transformation, offering them the unique opportunity to own a car that represents the pinnacle of performance and advanced electric engineering.”

The Evija boasts an impressive 2,039 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h. Weighing just 1,894 kg, it is the world’s lightest electric hypercar, thanks to its full carbon fiber chassis, which contributes to a driving range of 314 km (WLTP). Its ultra-fast charging technology allows the battery to be recharged from 10% to 80% in under 18 minutes.

Its sleek, futuristic design features aerospace-inspired elements like Venturi tunnels, while the interior is race-inspired with luxurious touches of carbon fiber and Alcantara. The Evija offers five driving modes—Range, City, Tour, Sport, and Track—ensuring a unique experience for every driver.

With only 130 units to be produced worldwide, the Lotus Evija stands as a testament to exclusivity and engineering excellence, offering a truly unique driving experience that embodies the Lotus philosophy of “For The Drivers.”
