Dubai, UAE, 3 December 2025 – Global Village marked the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad with a
spectacular evening of celebrations, headlined by the grand Emirati Hawa Operetta on the
Main Stage with a performance titled ‘From the Desert to the Stars’.
The captivating production brought together music, poetry, and dance to tell a story inspired
by Emirati heritage and unity, offering guests an immersive journey that celebrated the
nation’s enduring pride and rich culture.
Directed and choreographed by acclaimed artist Nasser Ibrahim, the performance guided
audiences through the UAE’s journey, from its formation and the symbolism of its national
flag to the flourishing of its people and culture.
Adding to the performance, the night sky above Global Village shined bright with vibrant
fireworks and an incredible UAE-themed drone show, painting the colours of the national flag
across the horizon in celebration of the 54th Eid Al Etihad. Guests joined in the festivities as
the destination continued its tradition of honouring the UAE’s unity and progress through
unforgettable experiences for all.
