These include Android’s first Low-Bit Quantization Technology and Next-Generation Hybrid Retrieval Technology, both set to debut on the upcoming HONOR Magic8 Series and HONOR MagicPad3 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform.
This partnership marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of smartphones, as HONOR and Qualcomm Technologies jointly pioneer the Dual-Engine Era—where agentic AI and performance optimization converge to redefine mobile experiences.

HONOR’s Low-Bit Quantization Technology, enabled by the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU, tackles key challenges in computing power, memory, and energy consumption. The new solution delivers up to 15% more computing efficiency, 20% lower model consumption, and 30% reduced storage requirements compared to previous HONOR devices—setting a new benchmark for intelligent agent deployment.
Complementing this, HONOR’s Next-Generation Hybrid Retrieval Technology fuses keyword and vector indexing to enable millisecond-level matching across text, images, and video. This results in a 50% boost in retrieval performance, accelerating semantic search and enhancing agent responsiveness across diverse real-world scenarios.
Creativity Unleashed: Agent-Powered Magic Color
HONOR also introduced Magic Color, the industry’s first agent-powered image and video restyling tool. Users can locate images, extract color tones, and apply them to new targets using simple, one-sentence commands. This intuitive feature democratizes professional-grade editing, empowering creators and everyday users alike. HONOR plans to expand agent-driven capabilities to over 200 vertical scenarios and 3,000 general use cases.
Performance Reinvented: GPU-NPU AI Super Sampling for Gaming
In performance innovation, HONOR unveiled its Hyper-Fusion Core Architecture, integrating HONOR Turbo X with Qualcomm® Oryon™ CPUs for dynamic resource scheduling. This architecture enhances energy efficiency and responsiveness.
Additionally, HONOR introduced GPU-NPU Heterogeneous AI Super Sampling Technology, transforming 60fps gameplay into 120fps at 1080p with real-time AI reconstruction. This breakthrough reduces latency and jitter, delivering ultra-smooth, immersive gaming experiences.
