OpEx First KSA 2025 Unites Leaders Through Operational Excellence

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The inaugural OpEx First KSA 2025 Summit concluded its successful run in Riyadh, bringing together senior government officials, industry leaders, and global innovators. The event served as a pioneering platform dedicated to operational excellence, underscoring its critical role in realizing Saudi Arabia’s ambitious transformation under Vision 2030.

The summit’s opening remarks highlighted operational excellence not as a temporary administrative fix, but as a structured philosophy and a core organizational culture. Eng. AbdulRazzag Al Aujan, Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, emphasized this point, stating, “Operational excellence is a continuous journey of improvement and innovation that places customer experience and service quality at the heart of decision-making. It inspires teams to embrace creativity, ownership, and agility.” He stressed that OpEx First KSA 2025 is a vital platform for uniting leaders to discuss current trends and challenges.

Throughout the day, discussions focused on leveraging data-driven decision-making, digital transformation, and the integration of AI and automation to enhance efficiency across key industries. A major announcement came from Kafaa, a leading Saudi consulting firm, which unveiled a strategic partnership with TeamAssurance to launch OELeap. This new platform is designed to help factories in the Kingdom achieve operational excellence by combining global best practices with local expertise. Eng. Majed Almeleak, CEO of Kafaa, noted that this collaboration will “empower Saudi factories with tools that drive efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainable excellence.”

Yasmin Bin Mobki, General Manager of Privatization at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, praised the summit as an “excellent platform for exchanging knowledge,” highlighting the importance of empowering people to sustain transformation. The event also featured a workshop on Business Process Improvement by King Saud University and sessions on sustainability, examining how Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects are embedding green innovation in line with the Saudi Green Initiative and net-zero targets.

Distinguished speakers from prominent organizations, including the Ministry of Finance, Red Sea Global, and Ma’aden, shared insights on how operational excellence is shaping workforce transformation and strengthening supply chains.
