Singapore’s Naumi Hotels Makes Middle East Debut with Acquisition and Launch in Dubai

Dubai, UAE –  Naumi Hotels, renowned for its bold spaces and “unscripted service,” has officially entered the Middle East with the opening of Naumi Hotel Dubai. The property, a 237-key hotel in Barsha Heights, was recently acquired by Naumi Group, advised by SunStar Capital, the family-owned asset company founded by Executive Chairman Surya Jhunjhnuwala.

Operated by Naumi Hotels and led by Group CEO Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, the new Dubai location joins a growing global collection of design-led boutique stays spanning Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia.

“Following Naumi Hotels’ success in the Asia-Pacific region, extending the experience to the Middle East felt like a natural next step,” said Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala. “For us, Dubai represents the epicentre of the region’s thriving hospitality market and a symbol of innovation. We are excited to make our mark on a city that so closely mirrors our ambition, creative energy, and ever-evolving vision for hospitality.”

Established in Singapore in 2007, Naumi Hotels champions a philosophy of bespoke, heartfelt hospitality. The group is guided by the belief that great design should shape a better tomorrow, making sustainability and social impact core brand pillars through practices like repurposing existing buildings and favoring design choices that enhance longevity.

The Naumi Hotel Dubai is ideally located in Barsha Heights, facing Sheikh Zayed Road, and offers easy access to the Dubai Internet City Metro Station, Mall of the Emirates, and The Palm. The property will soon undergo a full transformation to unveil a bold new visual identity featuring whimsical spaces, imaginative micro-experiences, and signature brand touchpoints.

The hotel currently features 237 rooms and suites, two restaurants, meeting rooms, a business center, a wellness spa, a rooftop pool, and a fitness center. Guests can expect design-forward interiors, curated art, and intuitive service that elevates the conventional stay.

Paul Stocker, Group Chief Operating Officer of Naumi Group, added, “In Dubai, we’ve found the ideal canvas to express our playful sophistication and bring unexpected moments to life. The hotel will capture the spirit of the city while staying true to Naumi Hotels’ experiential, artful approach to every stay.”

The opening of Naumi Hotel Dubai signals the start of a regional presence, laying the foundation for further expansion and shaping a new rhythm for hospitality in the Middle East with its unmistakable style and immersive spirit.
