The global performance wear brand makes its Kingdom debut at Riyadh Park with its first store and a large-scale community workout celebrating the country’s growing fitness culture.
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA — SQUATWOLF, the premium performance wear brand worn by athletes across 120+ countries, is officially opening its first store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Riyadh Park. The landmark expansion will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 21 August, followed by the Kingdom’s biggest mall workout at Riyadh Park on 22 August
Together, the milestone store launch and community fitness event mark the brand’s official arrival in one of its most passionate and vibrant markets. For its co-founders, the moment represents a long-awaited homecoming to a dedicated audience that supported the brand long before its physical entry into the region.
Long before SQUATWOLF had retail space in the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia had already established itself as one of the brand’s most active global customer bases. Driven by steady e-commerce orders from Riyadh, athletes tagging the brand in training sessions, and constant community inquiries, the demand laid a strong foundation for a physical presence.
SQUATWOLF is now celebrating its Kingdom debut by bringing people together through fitness, featuring a dedicated retail footprint and an expansive interactive event.
“Saudi has been one of our loudest communities for years—the orders, the messages, the athletes, the people who found SQUATWOLF before we ever had a presence there. The Kingdom made room for us long before we had a physical space in it. This isn’t just a store opening, it’s us finally showing up for a community that never stopped showing up for us.” — Anam Khalid, Co-Founder & Co-CEO, SQUATWOLF
The brand’s entry into the Kingdom was facilitated by the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA). Basim K. Ibrahim from MISA streamlined the market entry process, personally inviting SQUATWOLF to the Middle East Sports Investment Forum (MESIF) in London and officially announcing the brand’s Saudi expansion from the stage.
“This kind of belief from leadership changes everything. It tells you that what you’re building matters, and that the doors being opened for you are being opened intentionally. Thank you to Basim and the MISA team; we don’t take this lightly.” — Anam Khalid, Co-Founder & Co-CEO, SQUATWOLF
“This is not just another store opening; it’s our first real step into a market that has been moving with a kind of ambition you can feel the moment you land. Riyadh is building, growing, and claiming its place in the world at a pace that is impossible to ignore. To bring SQUATWOLF into that energy, in a city that represents so much of where the region is going, is a big deal for us. To everyone in Saudi who has been waiting, ordering, supporting, and asking when we are finally coming—thank you for making this feel less like an expansion and more like coming home.” — Wajdan Gul, Co-Founder & Co-CEO, SQUATWOLF
Strategic Alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Fitness Transformation
SQUATWOLF’s physical arrival aligns directly with the rapid transformation of Saudi Arabia’s lifestyle and sports sectors. The Saudi sportswear market, valued at $2.03 billion in 2024, is projected to reach $2.61 billion by 2030, driven by a young, health-conscious demographic and government-led wellness initiatives.
Central to this transformation is Vision 2030’s Quality of Life Program, which targets raising regular exercise participation among Saudi citizens to 40% by the end of the decade. The rapid growth of local gyms, fitness studios, and athletic communities creates an ideal environment for SQUATWOLF’s high-performance activewear.
Kingdom’s Biggest Mall Workout
As part of the Riyadh launch celebrations, SQUATWOLF will host a large-scale community workout at Riyadh Park on 22 August. Designed to foster active living and community connection, the event will feature:
- A high-energy bodyweight workout suitable for all fitness levels
- Exclusive SQUATWOLF gift bags for participants
- Community networking and fitness activations
The launch event highlights SQUATWOLF’s long-term strategy of building community engagement and delivering fitness experiences beyond traditional retail operations.
