Uber’s Lost & Found Index reveals Saudi Arabia’s strangest forgotten items

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 09, 2026 –  A fish was among the most unusual items left behind in an Uber ride in Saudi Arabia, according to the ride hailing app’s Lost & Found Index, which reveals the strangest and most surprising belongings forgotten by riders across KSA.

Alongside everyday essentials such as phones, keys and wallets, riders also left behind bizarre items including a fish, a sausage, a chicken, and spaghetti highlighting the wide variety of belongings that end up on the backseat.

“As we go about our busy routines, it’s easy to leave things behind,” said Youssef Abouseif, General Manager Uber, KSA and Bahrain. “ Our Lost & Found Index reflects the diverse stories of our riders and their belongings, celebrating these often unusual moments while showcasing how simple it is to retrieve forgotten items with Uber’s help.”

  • Commonly forgotten items: KSA riders commonly  misplace all things tech with Apple Air tags  and laptops among the top items found.
