Volkswagen Middle East Prepares to Unveil All-New Passat and Jetta in Regional Markets

The return of the iconic sedans, redesigned with German engineering, enhanced space, and smart technology, marks a new chapter for Volkswagen in the Middle East.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia : Volkswagen Middle East is set to revolutionize the region’s sedan segment with the highly anticipated introduction of the all-new Volkswagen Passat and Jetta. The arrival of these two models represents a significant moment for the brand, as both vehicles have been completely redesigned to meet the evolving needs of today’s customers while honoring their distinguished legacies.

The Passat and Jetta have long held a respected position in the Middle East sedan market, recognized for their ideal balance of design, functionality, and German engineering—hallmarks of Volkswagen’s commitment to precision, safety, and quality.

The all-new Passat embodies the essence of Volkswagen’s sedan history, which has seen over 34 million Passat units sold globally. This latest version is the longest and most spacious Passat in history, redefining comfort for both driver and passengers. Key highlights include class-leading rear seating, complete with ventilation, massage, and reclining functions, elevating every journey to a business-class experience. Advanced technology includes Matrix LED headlights, a 15-inch infotainment screen, and the latest safety systems, firmly positioning the Passat as a segment leader.

The all-new Jetta returns bolder and larger, featuring the longest wheelbase in its class to offer a more spacious and versatile interior than ever before. It maintains its distinct identity as the compact and agile sibling to the Passat. Designed for combining everyday practicality with contemporary style, the Jetta boasts a fresh design, advanced safety features, and smart technology amenities like digital screens, intuitive door handles, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and adaptive cruise control.

Matthias Ziegler, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East, commented: “The Jetta and Passat are two of Volkswagen’s most famous cars globally, and their return marks a tremendous moment for us in the Middle East. Both cars have been completely re-engineered to deliver greater space, more innovation, and the superior quality our customers expect. Their reintroduction marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Volkswagen sedans in the region.”

The Passat and Jetta reflect Volkswagen’s renewed strength in the sedan segment, embodying a vision of German-engineered vehicles tailored for user-friendliness, smart features, and customer-centric design. The larger, bolder, and more innovative versions bring the best of German engineering and advanced technology to a broader customer base, with starting prices for the Passat from $29,700 and the Jetta from $24,900.

Volkswagen Middle East is preparing for the official return of both the Passat and Jetta to the region in November. Availability in the UAE will be confirmed shortly, signaling the start of a new era for sedans in the Middle East.
