Shanghai Me Launches Maneki Brunch

A New Weekly Saturday Ritual Bringing Fortune, Flavor and Celebration to DIFC

Dubai, UAE – Shanghai Me Dubai introduces Maneki Brunch, a new weekly Saturday ritual inspired by the spirit of the Maneki Neko, the Japanese symbol of prosperity and good fortune. Launching with its first edition on Saturday, June 13th, the brunch will take place every Saturday from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, bringing together Pan-Asian cuisine, elevated hospitality, music and atmosphere through an afternoon that evolves gradually from refined dining into vibrant celebration.

Set within the dynamic surroundings of Shanghai Me Dubai in DIFC, Maneki Brunch opens with a refined dining setting before the energy in the room gradually shifts into a lively social experience shaped by sound, movement, conversation and shared moments around the table. Drawing from Chinese and Japanese culinary influences, the concept reflects Shanghai Me’s signature balance of sophistication and contemporary energy while introducing a fresh addition to Dubai’s weekend calendar.

At the centre of the experience is a curated sharing menu designed to move seamlessly from one course to the next. Guests can expect a selection of starters and dim sum, sushi platters and signature creations, followed by a choice of main course featuring premium meats, seafood and vegetarian options before concluding with a curated dessert platter.

Highlights from the menu include Wagyu selections, refined seafood dishes and Shanghai Me signatures including Beef Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce, Shrimps in Chili Sauce, Grilled Miso Chicken and Mapo Tofu served in a clay pot. Guests seeking a more elevated experience may also enjoy additions including roast duck carving and caviar service.
