Dragon World Spearheads New Saudi-Chinese Partnerships from Riyadh

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia –  Dragon World hosted a high-level strategic meeting at its headquarters in Riyadh, bringing together company leadership, a senior delegation from six major companies from the People’s Republic of China, and a selection of prominent Saudi businessmen and businesswomen. The meeting, held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, focused on establishing crucial joint ventures and collaborations.

The attendees explored avenues for mutual cooperation in several key strategic areas, including Contracting and Building Materials, Real Estate, Industrial and Technical Fields, Agricultural Sector. This meeting is part of the future strategy for the Chinese companies, who are set to commence operations in Riyadh in early 2026. Their objective is to build strategic alliances with the Saudi private sector that will facilitate the transfer of expertise and technology, localize industries, and ultimately support the ambitious goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Dr. Wang, Chief Operating Officer at Dragon World, emphasized that this move marks the beginning of a new phase of economic collaboration between the Kingdom and China. He stated that Chinese companies are eager to invest in the promising Saudi market and contribute to its major developmental projects.

Mr. Ding Bing Yan, CEO of Operations at Dragon World, added that the significant interest from Chinese companies reflects the growing confidence in Saudi Arabia’s business environment. He indicated that the coming period will see the launch of joint projects that will boost the local economy and unlock diverse investment opportunities.

The meeting was attended by a distinguished group of business figures, including Dr. Zayed Alzaidi, Jamal Al-Adar, Dr. Saad Al-Ahmari, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sulfaih, Dr. Hatem Hassanein, and Mohammed Bashir Hijazi. Businesswomen Asmaa Al-Mardi and Duha Al-Shammari, along with representatives from contracting companies, were also present.

Dragon World affirmed that this gathering represents a highly significant strategic step toward strengthening investment and commercial relations between Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of China, paving the way for major projects that will support economic development in both countries.
